1.     Online using a credit card

You may pay your invoice here − any time, any day − using your credit card, through a third-party automated bill payment service.  Gamma-Dynacare does not charge an additional fee for using this convenient service.

  • Your Gamma-Dynacare invoice number (top right corner of invoice)
  • The balance owed on your bill
  • Your credit card number and expiry date

2.      Pay at most major banks, trust companies or credit unions using a bank machine or through telephone or online banking

Payments now can be made through major banks, trust companies and credit unions using bank machine or through telephone or online banking,  Contact your financial institution in order to set up your bank account(s).  Use Gamma-Dynacare Medical Laboratories as your payee and your invoice number as the account number.  Please note that you must change your account number for each invoice payment.
 

3.     Pay at a Gamma-Dynacare Patient Services Centre

You may pay in person by cash, debit card, VISA or MasterCard at any one of our Patient Services Centres.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bill Payment

I have received an invoice for laboratory services, are these services covered by my provincial health plan?

In Ontario and Manitoba, most routine medical laboratory tests are paid for by provincial health insurance plans. For these tests, Gamma-Dynacare bills your provincial health insurance plan directly.

If a test is not covered by a provincial government plan, you must pay for the test and then seek reimbursement from your employment or private health care plan, if applicable.

In Quebec, the fees for all routine medical laboratory tests conducted by a community laboratory are paid by the patient at the time the service is provided and reimbursed by most group medical insurance plans. Please check with your private medical insurance provider regarding the admissibility of medical laboratory testing

Why have I received an invoice for testing that is covered by my provincial health care plan?

We were unable to submit a claim to the government plan for your test because the information provided did not match records at the Ministry or Department of Health in your province. Please verify that your correct health card, version code and date of birth appear on the invoice and if there is an error, contact our office at 1-866-790-5448 to update your records.

I have refugee status and have full benefits under the Interim Federal Health Program (IFH).  May I submit my IFH information?

If you are a member of this program, you will have been issued IFH documents.  To process your claim, we require the 8-digit Client ID and Expiry Date.   Please contact our office and submit your information by telephone at 1-866-790-5448 or by fax at

Why have I received an invoice for a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)? Isn’t this test covered by my Provincial Health Plan?

In Ontario, for men who are eligible under Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care guidelines, the cost of a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test is covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).  Please check with your physician or nurse practitioner to find out if you meet the Ministry’s criteria for insured PSA testing.  Patients in other provinces should check with their provincial Ministry of Health for eligibility requirements.

I am paying for testing.  Will I be issued a receipt?

For payments made at any Gamma-Dynacare location, receipts will be issued at the time of payment.  When making payments online, a confirmation number and payment notification will be emailed to you at the time of payment.  If you are paying by mail, please indicate that a receipt is required when enclosing your payment stub. 
 

Downloadable Insurance Form

For your convenience, a downloadable generic Insurance Claim Form is provided below. This form can be used to submit your claim to your insurer. You will be required to pay for all tests not covered by your provincial health insurance plan, and should then seek reimbursement from your supplementary health insurance provider.
