Commitment to Clinical Quality

Central to every task undertaken at Gamma-Dynacare is a commitment to the highest level of clinical quality. We believe that it is through our attention to quality that we are best able to support the more than ten thousand physicians, nurse practitioners and midwives who have come to rely on us in the prevention and diagnosis of disease and the treatment of patients. It is how we improve patient care and outcomes.

Commitment to Technology and Innovation

Our team of scientists and laboratorians is continuously examining and qualifying new technologies to better help clinicians diagnose and treat disease. On an ongoing basis, we critically evaluate new processes and products, adopting those with the greatest ability to benefit patient care. Wherever possible, we contribute directly to innovation. Consequently, we have introduced a number of very important testing developments to Canadians.

Recent technological and process enhancements include:

  • Full-scale conversion to liquid-based cytology;
  • Implementation of the Roche/Hitachi Modular Analytics system in chemistry;
  • Advanced new electrophoresis equipment;
  • Acquisition of a new liquid chromotography-mass spectrophotometer in our SAMHSA-accredited toxicology laboratory;
  • Introduction of human papilloma virus (HPV) and blood allergy testing.

Commitment to Career Development

Gamma-Dynacare has many career path options to explore. In addition to medical laboratory technology and cytotechnology, these include information technology, business development, patient services, phlebotomy, customer service, logistics and a variety of exciting management opportunities.
