Project Management

Strong, collaborative project management is central to our service. Our team is experienced, results-driven and committed to successfully bringing your project to completion on time and within budget. Working from established global principles and practices, our team invests the necessary time up front in order to proactively meet all client and sponsor requirements in all aspects of the study.

Our investigator manuals are reviewed thoroughly, approved and then printed. Investigators are taken through the manuals in detail, so that specific investigator site idiosyncrasies can be identified, noted and accommodated to minimize mistakes.

To minimize errors we build one-to-one relationships between our team members and site trial coordinators (and key CRO monitors if any). We contribute to the achievement of sponsor goals through a single point of contact and open communication, 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the trial. We maintain the integrity of the process throughout with reliable tracking and consistent, accurate reporting.

Logistics and Transportation Management

Our logistics expertise spans more than 30 years and is one of our key strengths. Gamma-Dynacare’s Brampton Central Laboratory is conveniently located 15 minutes from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, allowing easy access both for clients and for specimen delivery.

Gamma-Dynacare is the laboratory of choice for logistics and transportation management of the most complex clinical trials. Our expertise in this area was one of the key reasons for the Canadian federal government choosing Gamma-Dynacare for its national Hepatitis C Testing Program. We also manage mobile community collection services, institutional collections and transportation of specimens and national drug testing, along with our national clinical trial services.

To better serve our clients and sponsors, we have established our own courier system, which serves more than five thousand accounts in Ontario alone. Our couriers are at work 7 days a week, transporting specimens from hospitals, investigator sites, clinicians’ offices, community collection centres, occupational and industrial sites and our own licensed collection centres.

Our years of experience moving infectious and regular samples across the country have created long-standing, mutually respectful relationships with major carriers, resulting in favoured pricing. These savings are passed on to our clients in “flow through” arrangements.

Data Management

Our longstanding history of servicing many different sponsors, each with its own needs, enables us to understand the special requirements of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. We therefore electronically transmit uniquely formatted data received from our testing instruments to the sponsor.

Our data management team consists of experienced and dedicated data managers and data coordinators. We provide clean, concise, customized data in many electronic file formats, including Oracle and SAS, and understand the importance of maintaining a clean, secure database that can be delivered on time at the end of the study. Because of our 24/7 commitment strategy, we are able to work closely with investigators and coordinators to resolve data queries in a timely and efficient manner.
